Info below that might help explain Source Points and also the Neurolymphatics Reflex Points. I like learning so I enjoy this kind of info and thought I'd share. If you want to keep things simple just use the points in the LW brochures (many of them are Source Points). LW picked really good points for their brochures. If you want to try other placements one may use EE on one of the Source Points or any location of the Neurolymphatics Reflex Points. Remember, if a point is tender when pressed on, that is a good point to place patches. The more tender, the more your body could use EE patches at that location. White/Right, Tan/Left. Enjoy TH call attached.
Create a wonderful day!
Some info from March 7, 2012 Health & Science webinar by Christine Fisher on Source Points.
LifeWave claims that their nanotechnology products do not diagnose, treat, or cure diseases, rather they work according to the principles of Asian medicine on acupuncture points to support health and improve the quality of life. LifeWave is energetic software for the body that optimizes bio coherence.
March 7, 2012 - Source Points by Christine Fisher
Source points are located on the meridian of what it controls (so the kidney source point is on the kidney meridian). Source points are acupuncture points that are four times more active than other points. They affect the meridian immediately and also affect the related organ as well. They help re-establish and balance the meridian and increase all the energy going to the organ. The source point regulates, if too high or to low, the source point brings it back to normal. Source points are like holding tanks that feed the meridians and organs with reserved energy as needed. All of the source points are located on / near hands and feet. (Note: The nice thing about the LW patches is no matter what point we use, the patches help the body regulate up or down to bring back to balance.)
List of Source Points-
Lung 9, Pericardium 7, Heart 7, Large Intestine 4, Triple Warmer 4, Small Intestine 4, Kidney 3, Spleen 3, Liver 3, Gallbladder 40, Bladder 64, Stomach 42.
Source points are helpful for revitalizing somebody with chronic health issues, after a long illness, use prior to surgery, or post-surgery.
Kidney 3 is the master source point. It can help all other source points with providing energy. It is the first source point on the meridian wheel. Kidney 3 shoots energy around the meridian wheel. If you don't know which source point to use, you can always use Kidney 3. The Kidney meridian is very important. It supplies the energy to all the other meridians. It is like the battery where energy gets stored for us. So many people are tired, so using the EE patches on K 3 is helpful. Always white on right, tan on left. Use K 3 for extreme fatigue, also good for hiccups.
TW 4 - good for balancing thyroid and blood sugar. It is also good for better hearing and thirst. Triple Warmer doesn't have an organ associated with it. In Specialized Kinesiology, it is in charge of your adrenals.
LV 3 - disperses stagnant liver chi, helps with spasms.
LU 9 - good for breathing issues.
LI 4- Great for pain in the head. It moves chi down.
ST 42 - Good for teeth pain.
ST 36 is not a source point but is still an excellent point to use.
The Governing Vessel GV and Conception Vessel CV, are special meridians, they do not have source points, but any point on either of them are excellent points to use. The GV and CV are where chi is stored If there is excess chi in the main channels then it is stored in the GV and CV. If there is a deficiency of chi in the main channels then chi is drained from GV or CV.
Massaging Neurolymphatics Reflex points (see attached picture): Lymphatic massages on the area near and above the arm pits (on attached picture see area marked Kidney and Central near arm pits) is important. When toxins accumulate in the breasts it will create stagnation which increases the risk of getting cancer. It is important to keep the chi and lymph moving and clear in this area, which helps flush out toxins.
I found more information on this: http://www.fortcollinslymph-massage.com/breast-massage.html The following is a quote from that website: "The lymphatic system is part your immune system. The lymph (blood plasma and white blood cells) circulates through the body tissues transporting debris and toxins from tissue to the lymph nodes. The lymph nodes then enable the body to rid itself of these toxins.2 According to Susun S. Weed, author of "Breast Cancer? Breast Health! The Wise Woman Way," breast massage helps to prevent breast cancer by improving the immune system and moving lymph fluids through lymph nodes under the arms."
